honestly this is so refreshing to read? dont get me wrong, i love a protagonist who’s able to solve their problems through wit and strength and whatever but its just really nice to see her father actually taking responsibility for her? most of the bigger problems he’s been solving and some of them she didn’t even bring to his attention. im just feeling refreshed to see an actually reliable parent in one of these LOL
Its not a hard conclusion to make, she was a maid that worked for the queen and the price of that massive amount of food that’s supposed to be under the Queens job to manage, how could she not notice? Who else has the power to act so quickly or keep such an incident quiet for so long? The maids weren’t abusing the princess without clearance from someone higher than them either
