Tbh i sometimes do not find queen’s son with blonde hair that annoying.. Only if he wasn’t before the throne he would not be so rude.. He sometimes forgets that he is hostile to her and there is a funny teasy fight between them
if i can recall, she was envious of Marianne’s mother since she had all the kings attention and was pretty much the perfect queen and feels that Marianne will be her downfall. I don’t know if that’s entirely true, but it makes the most sense.
