From what I’ve seen on other sites, the sister in the nick is still alive and didn’t with the poison, during the trial after it ended the people refused to believe ashtarte despite the evidence since they didn’t want to admit they were fooled for so long, her family despite knowing what the priest and the fake sister did to her, decide to adopt her and let her stay with them, so ashtarte leaves the country and I don’t remember if this what really happened or if I’m just wishing it really happened but she never forgives them as she leaves

I wish that you make the perfect match for our innocent high priest, give good beating to the dumb brothers. And console and make amaryllis a good person. She was created by author to look bad. This manhwa is short sighted. Except for Ashtarte and Rion, we didn’t get to see other characters point of view or their back story. It’s so obvious that this world is created for them, to the point that other characters really don’t worth much. Even the high priest wasn’t that great villain and was dealt with easily.
Even more than the priest I feel like the father is at fault the most, all of this could have been avoided or partly solved if he had a brain. Also poor Isaiah feels like such a filler character. What’s the point of him being introduced as a 3rd wheel when it was clear from the start she bonded with the little duke and he was definitely ML. Heck Isaiah doesn’t even have an intricate back story like elfman, he basically existed for the main couple and his purpose was to highlight their relationship. Its so sad because without him literally nothing changes
I kinda feel bad for the homoculus though. It’s not her fault she was born or rather made the way she is. Nor the way she acted since she was raised to act that way. Even when she realized the truth she was filled with insecurities, fear and envy only to be used and thrown away. It’s not her fault. She’s guilty of things sure and she wasn’t the best of people either much like the emperor or the princes but they all deserve a second chance.
