There’s actually a reason for the reincarnation part (I think). Despite being an adult at that time, her mindset may not have developed according to her age. As a slave, she wants one thing that most slaves wants – happiness and warmth. Also, her mindset may or may not have become child-like again due to being reincarnated and reliving from age 0 once again.

Wouldn’t the memories of her previous life had made her smarter and make her realize that her family doesn’t care about her. She still acts like an innocent child and there wasn’t any mention of her reading ancient languages in her past life so what’s the point of it??
