I would have thought the high priest would have at least had someone who knew the truth that could be by amaryllis’ side and therefore could “guide” amaryllis, maybe even tell her “oh no, the green blood is a sign of your holy nature. Green for the good and pure”. Cuz now amaryllis is a ticking time bomb without someone to keep a hold of her. So definitely a major flaw in the high priest’s plans
Cant wait to see what kind of set up they have made at the baptism, should use this chance to show off her real holy powers since all the nobles will be watching, then how would they explain the prophecy? but we know that wont happen its a way too easy solution and it’s not like they’ll question the high priest or his “oracle” when he’s got so much control
