Exactly as I thought, it’s not that she forgives anyone who mistreated her (abandonment to the point where the other person has to stave is mistreatment) it’s just that she let go of them. She let go of the fantasy that people who were mistreating her were one day going to suddenly change and love her like she’s always hoped. I think it’s good to hope and to dream big but when it comes to dreaming or hoping people will change after 10 years of them not having changed…it’s more harmful than helpful to hold on to those hopes and dreams.
i’m so happy for her and her little found family that she’s given up on her birth family. she’s got a mom and dad who love her very much and she’s finally recognized that for what it is. if the man had an ounce of conscience, he’d fake her death, announce it to the kingdom, and give their little family a darling cottage out in the country with an unlimited budget, far away from the political scheming of the capital.
