In short, it’s written very poorly.
First, Leads don’t have a reasonable relationship. They live with each other for few days when they were young and after 5 years meeting again they concluded that they love each other (so silly).
Second, there is no clear reason for the villain (high priest) existence. Till the end of the story his goal for doing all those scheme is unmentioned.
I found the sister the most realistic character.
She was cherished and people whom she trusted told her that she must be aware of ashtarte. After founding out her true identity and realizing that high priest betrayed her, she naturally lost her mind and tried to save her position, like anyone else would do.
The second male lead is so pitiful. His one sided emotions and efforts for trying to help ashtarte are resultless. Even when ashtarte told him that she loves some else, he still tried to meet her in dreams.
In the end, if you are an old manhwa reader, this plot won’t satisfy you.
