i love couples that fight together, it’s so romantic and such a vibe. This manhwa reminds me of ‘My Husband Hides His Beauty’ because the relationship is quite similar.
The male lead of MHHHB is scary and strong, yet cute and kind, but the public perceives him as a monster. And the female lead of MHHHB loves her husband dearly and is strong mentally, but is always trying her best to help him out and her image is slowly ruined bc she is now seen as a “Devil” amongst other devils lol
I love both stories, ATFR is my personal fav bc it doesn’t take like 60 chapters for a kiss or for them to even realize their feelings.
This manhwa is so good, hopefully that toe-looking prince won’t interfere but he obviously will 🙁
Im trying to remember what Lithera said about the priest that he will meddle so that she, one of god’s chosen, will be in a position where she can live comfortably and be given the highest honor (I think he helped her to get crowned as the Queen as well) – but he doesn’t seem to understand that seats of power are heavy with burdens and responsibilites the more high up they are. Lithera is perfectly fine in the secluded North with her hubby, he has seen with his 2 eyes that they are devoted to each other. The punishment he will face due to his interference will be worth it as the very chaotic are setting out their trap, I doubt god is gonna help the priest, the god can barely help themself.

Rather than wanting her to live comfortably, I think he wants to remove her from the duke’s side in order to seize that spot next to her (hence why he’s a potential male lead) because 1: he either likes her, or 2: he wants to be close to the God/he wants to be worshiped as one. And there’s the possibility of it being both.
Well, to be honest, I don’t exactly know what his intentions are. However, although he’s saying he’s doing this for her happiness, I don’t truly believe it’s all for her happiness bc then he’d actually support her relationship. To me, he seems like a typical case of a priest obsessed with serving the gods.
