Why is she acting so arrogant when she’s living in the fl’s house? Geez she’s so shameless. If it weren’t for her parents being close with the fl’s parents, she wouldn’t even live that kind of life. Why did she put on that entire show to get angel to except her. When Jaina invited her over she should have had tea ready and maids there to assist her, doubt Angela would look so evil in front of them and just to keep face she probably would have accepted the help with les resistance. Feels like a wasted or drawn out chapter
Jayna said it herself. Angela is trying to build up an “angelic” reputation for herself. Over the course of the past several chapters, it’s Jayna who is seen as the flower of high society, something that Angela desperately wanted for herself so she decided that starting off low (with commoners) would probably be better off instead of starting up high this time around. And also just like Jayna pointed out, Angela destroyed her reputation by imparting herself on a few of the men of high society despite the fact that they have fiancees. It was mentioned in a previous chapter if Jayna hadn’t shielded her repeatedly when other women expressed displeasure at what Angela had been doing, she wouldn’t have had the reputation that she had.
Honestly, the FL didn’t really do much of anything but expose Angela’s true intentions and her true nature. There is a famous saying: “Polish a turd, it’s still a turd”. Now Jayna is going to the Medical Center to show to the commoners there that Angela isn’t as kind-hearted as she is making herself out to be and that she’s really just using them to gain status.
