I pity him but this is the only story out there where FL retains her trauma and can’t bring herself to be with him again. Yes he was manipulated and brainwashed but the pain and betrayal she felt is all very real! It’s hard to just make that go away. Logically she acknowledges he’s not at fault but emotionally, she’s still traumatized and healing. It’s crazy to me when other FLs endure cheating, humiliation, abuse, assault, even miscarriage, and eventually death but still get together with their murderer bc “reasons”
