@sereusagi surprisingly enough I’m not young, I just dislike people completely ghosting someone who they promised to speak to with no warning. Communication is the key to any relationship and to just cut someone off without a “hey I can’t talk for a while.” Is inconsiderate to me.
I do agree that lili has an odd obsession with keeping people close to her and the author might be trying to portray she has abandonment issues, especially after what the prince did with his whole death situation.
It’s character flaws and as frustrating as it is, I do enjoy it.
@sheepy you know opinions vary through the chapters right? She’s not a good nor evil female lead. There’s flaws. It’s okay to say something instead of just ignoring it. You all take opinions as complaints when I’m quite sure the author themselves are aware rhat at times lii is being unreasonable. 💞

I had the same mindset when I was younger.
However, the older you get, the more you understand that the world doesn’t always evolve around you.
People come and go in your life.
They’re not obligated to stay by your side forever.
They have their own lives, their own difficulties and their own circumstances as well.
Lili is actually the selfish one here, who wants to bind everyone next to her.
A true friend should be understanding and listen to their friends’ reasons.
How they just leave and decide to pop up and re-enter her life, disruptively might I add. Is really disrespectful and Luca forcing the hand of her going with Aiden in favor of “old normalcy” at the expense of the fl feelings is just trash. I don’t care if HE wants things to go back to normal, he should’ve listened to what she wanted instead of pushing his feelings onto her. Her ignoring her sister but not wanting others to abandon her is hypocritical. She was so hurt that they didn’t send her letters yet she turns around and does the same thing to her sister? Okay lili. Everybody is selfish and frustrating.
