So Julianne wanted to be the best because she didn’t want Lily to be used as an object, She actually cares about her wanting her to live a good life, even if it meant throwing away her dreams, The parents are assholes and I hope they can soon move away from those two as they not deserve to be near any of her friends, or her sisters friends.
julianne is such a wonderful person. im glad with the way her character is potrayed. not the stereotypical sis-con that doesn’t have a personality outside worshipping their sibling, yknow, typical manhwa tropes. the art style makes me fall for her even more. hope the artist gets paid well since they really put their ass into making her pretty not to mention the fits she and her sis wears.
that aside, mayo boy is just ruining the whole mood. julianne is there worrying for her sister and he uses that to bring up an engagement. really hate these typa tropes since it just adds to the shitty power dynamics present in romance stories. spoiler but glad she ends up with the undercut guy, he seems to be the only one to actually respect her and her decisions.
The parents suck. I saw spoiler that she changed after her sister got married. I can understand why. Julianne is her only person left. I would feel lonely too if i were here
I never expected the parents to be decent anyway but that doesn’t their personalities shouldn’t be so horrible. I mean that’s your youngest daughter who came out of a come and you two go straight to insulting her about something she couldn’t control and try to marry her off. I know there were and still are parents like that in the world but it’s sad nonetheless. These sisters can’t seem to catch a break?
