It’s okay. Titles like ‘into the light again’ and ‘ashtare’ do a better job at encompassing this precious person in an abusive family theme.
The pacing is fast, the characters feel flat, the romance feels wishy-washy and the translations feel off sometimes

This story is good but it skip through the first arc a bit too fast. The story establish the mc to be kind and compathtion only to flip it over at the start of arc two to begin slapping the face of the family that abandoned her. I still like the mc because she is a strong female character done right, making clever decision, determine to prove her worth. However, she stand out too much and even create scandals in front of the servants of the castle. The bigger problem i see in the story is actually the male lead. the whole reason why he love the mc is abit too shallow, he right now lack characteristic. The male lead is very genetic archetype of being cool, badass and love the mc unconditionally because the mc save him one time as a child. Overall, its still a decent story, but the pacing need a bit work.
