I noticed one thing, this is one of the rare mangas where characters actualy are proportional. Most mangas have adults looking like they are like 2.5-3meter tall and kids around 8-10yo looking like they are 1m. Here she looks her age like around 110-130cm and he looks like 180-185cm.

Katisha is the dukes daughter, but Arnin and Wenner are not his children.
Arnin and Wenner is his (The Duke, Lute’s) neice and nephew
Lute had a twin brother named Loutard, who died leaving the twins behind and because of the situation with the imperial family, Lute decided to live as Loutard and let the world know he (Lute) is the one that died
So in summary: The dukes real name is Lute but he’s living as Loutard(his twin brother), Arnin and Wenner are Loutard’s children and Katisha is Lute and Selena’s (Her mother’s name) child.
Lute and Loutard looked so similar that even their father (Herzen, Katisha’s grandfather) had issues telling them apart, Selena was the only person who could tell them apart, and lute knew that so he decided to send Selena somewhere safe and never see her again.
Herzen was against the decision of Lute pretending to be loutard in the first place, especially since Lute had a lover, and wasn’t happy with Lute’s decision to send Selena away either, so he left the family.
Selena died and sent Katisha to Herzen to raise.

At lest i guesed that he is her father and grandfather knows about it 😀 Besides even considering her not knowing he is her father author did a great job to show how atached she is to him.

Anyone knows spoilers for this situation ? Its obvious his portrait so either he is some kind of dragon/vampire something like that ? Mayby he was in long slumber or something ? There may be plot where he lost some of his memories and she is in fact his daughter thats why he cant say NO to her requests and he felt nostalgic when she smiled at him.
