Just when he does something right, his past is brought back up again and now he’s an asshole. I don’t know whether to like him or dislike him, I can’t bring myself to hate him despite all of his horrendous actions. Which is strange of me because I usually hate men like this almost immediately. I think it’s the story-telling, it makes me waver between sympathizing with a character and hating them.
