Also, we’ve gotta have some credibility for our suspension of disbelief… You’re telling me a modern woman with modern sensibilities is gonna fall in love with a serial r@pist and abuser? And we’re supposed to relate to her and root for her romance w/ him? Like, usually in these sorts of plots they just have him be a murderer or have him (consensually) sleep with lots of women.
Like, FL’s gonna go “tee-hee he’s so handsome” right after he’s done throwing things and beating another girl in front of her.
