Read manhua After relinquishing my talent, I became a favorite of the wizarding world / 让出天赋后,我成了魔法界团宠
Quinn, a genius girl, was robbed of her talent by her family, but was reborn because of the system. Give away the baby to get 100,000 times the rebate? The eldest lady incarnates a wealth fan, and the treasure is sent away! I didn’t expect the strongest rebate to be the Holy Son of the Empire!

The art is fine and very manhua-like.
The story on the other hand … is also manhua-like: overexaggerating at every turn *sigh*
The summary is really badly translated, but actually; the story itself also does not make much sense 😀 Nope, there is no „baby“ to give away, the fl is not reborn (nor does she regress in time), and nobody „incarnates a wealth fan“; also no „treasure“ is „sent away“…
There really is a (game-like) “system” that makes windows float in the air that only the female lead can see, giving her “missions” to gift items or powers, which will then grant her „rebate“ points and will offer her skills and items in return…
Story goes like this: the female lead Quinn is a strong „blue/azure-tier“ magician, tricked by her bastard half-sister (called „Mizerly“ :D) who yearns for the fls strong magic, and the fl is then accused by her whole family who tries to force her into „transferring“ her magic to said evil sister.
The charges held against the fl are weird and sadly merely mentioned in retrospective: an unintentional magic surge (?) had hurt a prince during a „friendly duel between nations“ (?) with the female lead, plus the female lead is also (?) accused of having used a forbidden potion at the duel (a potion that the sister has slipped her, but how did it end up being “used” anyways?)…
The system-window then suddenly appears for the first time – asking the fl to give up her blue-tier talent willingly and rewards her for this with gold-tier magic talent, the highest possible.
From then on, the fl is still harrassed by evil members of her family and their goonies, but also gains domestic allies, an overpowered magic wand, is super lucky at finding exceptional magic items and gets even rarer stuff by gifting her findings away – basically massive female-lead-perks just by having this „system“ on her side now.
The male lead (the white-haired guy on the cover) is another gold-tier magician who woke up because he sensed her magic and now searches for her; but he doesn’t even recognize her at their first meeting (?).
Next up he just simply stops searching for absolutely no reason, but assumes that items she stores in a gift that he gave to her (!) are meant for him without even talking to her, and a little later he starts to pop up from nowhere just in time – to save the female lead’s talent from being damaged…
This male lead is called a “saint” and a hero, but in later chapters it becomes clear that he is a massive jerk in reality (plus he’s at least 600 years old).
For now, the female lead only wants to be the male lead’s disciple, but I fear that the author will make her fall for him (because of his looks? Might be magic, because in reality he should be an old crock with a long white beard!) 🙁
There are some more cliché tropes added to this story like a young personal knight with his sick mother who was denied healing by an evil family member, horrible „tests“ and a brutal magic training schedule…
Even though I do like the schemings within the family, the game-like idea of a magic ring with its own small „dimension bubble“ inside and some of the magic odds and ends, however the system-window and all those supermegahyper lucky perks are really getting on my nerves.
Later on I was so put off by a traumatizing mental strength „testing“ in chapter 24-25 and then the beginning of a whole magic-battle-arc that I’ve stopped reading at this point. Not sure if I’ll ever pick this up again.

The summary makes no sense…
