Guy’s morals are twisted already, no corruption needed. He didn’t hesitate at all to threaten and beat a woman based on just a hunch and no evidence, yet he’s hesitating over two knights who were literally there to kill her. Either way he’s scum, but he could at least be commit one way or the other.
I like this kind of story that shows the perpetrators’ thoughts and the schemers in the background from early on, because it’s different from most rofans.
Most manhwas strictly concentrate on the main character or the love-story of the main couple and often feature only one villain after the other (and how the mcs overcome each challenge at a time). Usually facts about the villains are kept as short as possible, often very shallow as well and with no character-developments of the villains at all.
