   Well.. I knew it something fishy about their relationship at the 1st place..

   The ML thought the FL is a demon king.. that’s the reason why he killed her in order to protect from demon realm..

   In chapter 45 shows that the ML & FL is loving-dovey ❤️❤️❤️ can’t wait for the next chapter 🥰

   Probably there is the reason why ML killed FL at the 1st place.. because thru the dream that ML faced it.. it looks like ML has fall in love with FL at the 1st place but he doesn’t know how to express his feelings to her..

   Previous life, their relationship too much assumptions due to lack of communication.. well the 2nd life we can see that the ML try to approach the FL while FL try to show him how useful she is as a wife, “prophet”, duchess.. hope there is positive & loving in their relationship ❤️

    For everyone saying she’s forgiven him too easily:
    The point wasn’t that she hated him for killing her and that now she wants to live a different life by loving someone else. No.
    The point was that she thinks he killed her because she was useless. She loves him and seems to desperately want to prove her usefulness and worth to him. So when she said she wanted to live a different life and do the things she wanted to in the past, she meant she wants to be useful to the duke and the people of the dukedom this time. She’s hung up on being useless. So she wants to be useful.
    Also it’s highly likely that the reason she’s staying with them still, aside from loving him and wanting to be useful, is knowing that if she doesn’t help, living a life elsewhere (married to whoever else) won’t help her live through the awakening of the demon king.

    She doesn’t quite forgive him right away. She just has a lot of residual feelings for the man she loved for 20 years and also she’s really really hung up on being useful.

    And the story isn’t blaming his past for his behavior. So far, it’s only blamed him and his inability to communicate. Even his present self blames him, not his childhood.

    As for everyone else suddenly loving her. The maid is the only one I didn’t understand. Because Mavin for example, she said that he did like her in the past. Wakan acknowledged her because she did something she didn’t do in the past (awaken the sword, so he acknowledged her strength). Aas is merely following the duke’s reactions in my opinion. Same with Wakan I think. Since he was indifferent in the past to her, they were too. Now that he’s not indifferent (because she was more active) they are also not indifferent.

    Also the story explained how it’s not victim Blamey (in the sense that the comments are saying) because in the past, what we had were 2 passive and secretive FL and ML. Basically 2 rocks.
    Now, since one started to be adamant on her feelings, it caused the other to open up slowly too.

    This isn’t far fetched either. Irl people would be dancing around talking to their crush for years too.

    Re the misunderstandings, it makes sense because we hear what we want to hear. If we think someone is mad at us, we can interpret what they say negatively even if they didn’t mean it that way. That’s p much what happens to them. FL is hung up on being useless, so when ML checks on her out of worry or curiousity etc, she thinks it’s because he’s checking if she’s useful yet.

    It’s worth a read imo , just keep these in mind

    I read up to chapter 10 and I currently don’t know how to feel about this story. It isn’t bad, but I’m not totally amazed by it either.
    I saw the spoilers for this and it gets really interesting later on, but at the moment, I’m getting a little annoyed with the story-telling. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m enjoying this story. The premise is interesting, the art is great, and the fl is pretty cool as well.
    However, as far as the FL knows, the duke murdered her in cold blood. But in the second timeline, she’s acting so unbothered as if nothing happened.
    Just because the ML has a sob story, it doesn’t exactly excuse his actions and the FL acts like it does. She loved him for 20+ years and after he killed her, she finally realized how bad he treated her and she holds no resentment whatsoever??? that doesn’t even make sense.
    I would be pissed or at least terrified if I was in her situation.
    There are parts where her memory is fading so that could explain her actions, other than that, her reactions are so unrealistic in every way.
    And the ML, I don’t hate him but he’s not the greatest either. He’s immortal, so he’s not human. But the author acts like not understanding human emotions is enough of a reason to treat a person like they’re dirt.
    I know this comment is long already but i just have to add one more thing; Is it just me or is every side character suddenly liking her upon meeting her? its a usual thing in manhwas where the FL can convince anyone to like her but after one(1) conversation, the characters are devoting their lives to Adel and they’ve known her for like two panels. I’ll keep reading only if it improves, yet like a person said below, this feels totally victim blamey.

    I don’t think I’m going read this. Would’ve been better if she denied the marriage and still try to find out the reason for her death. Seem like she going fall in love with the guy that killed her
