For everyone saying she’s forgiven him too easily:
The point wasn’t that she hated him for killing her and that now she wants to live a different life by loving someone else. No.
The point was that she thinks he killed her because she was useless. She loves him and seems to desperately want to prove her usefulness and worth to him. So when she said she wanted to live a different life and do the things she wanted to in the past, she meant she wants to be useful to the duke and the people of the dukedom this time. She’s hung up on being useless. So she wants to be useful.
Also it’s highly likely that the reason she’s staying with them still, aside from loving him and wanting to be useful, is knowing that if she doesn’t help, living a life elsewhere (married to whoever else) won’t help her live through the awakening of the demon king.
She doesn’t quite forgive him right away. She just has a lot of residual feelings for the man she loved for 20 years and also she’s really really hung up on being useful.

And the story isn’t blaming his past for his behavior. So far, it’s only blamed him and his inability to communicate. Even his present self blames him, not his childhood.
As for everyone else suddenly loving her. The maid is the only one I didn’t understand. Because Mavin for example, she said that he did like her in the past. Wakan acknowledged her because she did something she didn’t do in the past (awaken the sword, so he acknowledged her strength). Aas is merely following the duke’s reactions in my opinion. Same with Wakan I think. Since he was indifferent in the past to her, they were too. Now that he’s not indifferent (because she was more active) they are also not indifferent.
Also the story explained how it’s not victim Blamey (in the sense that the comments are saying) because in the past, what we had were 2 passive and secretive FL and ML. Basically 2 rocks.
Now, since one started to be adamant on her feelings, it caused the other to open up slowly too.
This isn’t far fetched either. Irl people would be dancing around talking to their crush for years too.
Re the misunderstandings, it makes sense because we hear what we want to hear. If we think someone is mad at us, we can interpret what they say negatively even if they didn’t mean it that way. That’s p much what happens to them. FL is hung up on being useless, so when ML checks on her out of worry or curiousity etc, she thinks it’s because he’s checking if she’s useful yet.
