True. That was the problem I had with this. He claims that he was remorseful without her in his past life but that wasn’t true, he only felt bad after he realized that he needed her. It was never love but just realizing he made the wrong decision. He didn’t traverse time to save Kiera, or he would’ve done it way earlier, he reversed time to save the empire and thought Kiera might be able to do it. He’s still the same heartless guy who now only shows guilt for his poor decision making
