@VillainessBarbie The main reason why this feels so easy is because it is. The Bastard was nothing more than a paw this entire time. He wasn’t smart at all. The previous empress and consort, along with the last Emperor, were the biggest obstacles in MC’s way. The two princes needed to be gone for MC and ML to have the ability to attack the Emperor and the consorts. Afterward, the bastard finally got the throne. Compared to the rest of the royal family who were smart and extremely suspicious of everyone this guy was blindsided by MC and was just pathetic. This guy was just easy mode compared to the rest of his family.
The revenge felt a little flat considering all the scheming and chapters leading up to it, like, if he was just gonna go tyrant route, we coulda done this like 50 chapters ago.
Ml waited for fl to get her revenge the way she wanted. Fl could have killed him on her wedding night but she wanted others to see what a shit he was and ruin him. Plus that’s how it usually is when someone accomplishes something, Ppl think it was easy bc they didn’t see all the work that want into it. We got to see the long, carefully planned road that lead up to a quick easy victory.
