The fact that Shuli and Johannes are what- 45 yo and 14 yo when they got married is what’s making feel a bit strange. If we look at it closely, Shulli and Jeremy practically “grew up” together. For Jeremy there were no first and second life so he practically see her as an older female, a guardian at least and never a mother (I’d be mortified my self if I had to call someone whose only 2 years older than me a mother/father). Yes legally she’s their mother but that doesnt take away the fact that they’re almost the same age. The fact that Jeremy never treated Shulli as his mom made it less awkward for me to consider Jeremy and Shulli’s route. I agree that it is a bit strange and probably legally wrong, but disgusting? I probably would use that on the 45×14 relationship (tho they did not lay on the same bed, the fact just make feel icky or something)

Shula is pretty much the same age as Jeremy, their not related, Shula was pretty much sold to this marriage and forced into a role of parentification from a young age so to be honest, if it wasn’t for Jeremy’s abusive father, Shuli and Jeremy would’ve been completely normal teenagers
I can’t sense anything romantic between Jeremy and Shuli. First off it’s a disgusting idea. Also it just seems to me that Jeremy simply feels bad and wants to take the some burdens off her shoulder. I think he realizes she was a victim in his father’s planning and that kinda made him feel even more guilty

Jermy never has any romantic feeling for shuli(nor in first timeline) he just respect her and loves her like his own family member
