At chapter 45 they stil dont know that she is his nice. Instead there are flashbacks where her mother sings her lulaby that her knight (duke knight for long time) also know. And women in this flashback looked like his wife. So if she is her nice there is only one option, that is that she is his wife sister/twin sister child. Otherwise i have a second idea, that she is his real daughter but she was swaped by maid after his wife/her mother give birth to her. Overal if i recal there wasnt any talk about how exactly she died. There was only some talks that child and her died soon after childbirth and if i recal he wasnt in home then. So i would be leaning more towards idea that she is in fact his daughter but she was swaped after childbirth because of royal family and temple plot

The thought occurred to me when the grand duke’s wife first appeared in his flash-back but now they even portrayed it in one whole frame! Yeah, she must have been their long-lost daughter! But a daughter he never knew hes had?! How did she end up in the slums?!
Was it due to her powers or something? Like some people killing the duchess and tossing away the child somehow?
We still dont know whats happened to this family…should wait and see
