I know spoilers were different but i still think that Esther is his child ,besides there wasnt mentioned how she lost her child, there were no images of her funreal and grave. Besides idea that Esther is his sister in law daughter is weird cause first of all it would be imposible for such high noble to not know that his wife have twin sister(besides this is extremely rare in mangas to have exactly the same twins, they often have different eye colour,different hairstyle,colour of hairs, totaly different personality and so on) . Besides Esther looks exactly like Irene when she was young.
I still think best back story would be like this:
Irene was weak during pregnency so she was resting in some remote estate, Duke was on batlefield during war or subjugating some monsters, Irene give birth to Esther but some people in estate were ploting with temple and royals to hit duke so they swap children(after all small kids are similar) . She died soon after giving birth. Some people were suposed to take care for this kid for some time ,few years for example, but they were robed and killed, Esther was sold to temple.
I think its much more logic and better plot than Esther being duches twin sister child. First of all Irene was noble and she had good personality so she wouldnt hide that she have a sister. Second which is super weird would be that Irene had sister who looks exactly the same but her sister would be made by her father to other women. 3rd, posibility for both of them to have child at the same time, one child died with mother (Irene) second child lives (Esther) but mother dies (Irene sister) is totaly illogic and weird. And as far as it goes this manga is relatively logic

Duke is the best, there were no character up until i seen that he would kill those f*cker without remorse. Besides….basicly wouldnt be easier for royal family to just give kingdom to Eshter 😀 ? At least they may live. When it will be reveled that Eshter is Duke daughter….everyone involed will die anyway 😀
