@JutlandAngel i’m kinda happy about that too! The snake is really pretty… once I wanted to have a pet snake for free (non poisonous, naturally)from a friend, whose mom was scared of snakes, but my mom was scared of snakes as well….

Am I the only one that’s really happy that they actually gave a good reason why the snake would attack. Like usually in stories snakes attack cause they are snakes, when in reality most snakes only attack if they feel threatened or want to eat (humans are too big to be food for most snakes).

@haurva Even ignoring what the other commenters pointed out… How do you think the eggs get there? Yes, snakes can get pregnant and give birth – to eggs. Like egg-laying creatures very much do those things too.

@Haurva I think you need to brush up on your basic biology 101. Vipers do not lay eggs, they are the most common type of venomous snake. Of the venomous snakes you can find in North America 3/4 are vipers who do not lay eggs. The more you know.

@Haurva some snakes do give birth. Venomous snakes give birth, most of them anyway.

snakes can’t get pregnant. they’re reptiles, not mammals. bruh. this is just… basic biology 101. snakes lay eggs. she’s taking the snake away from its nest and its babies. oy vey
