The only explanation i can come up with is that the father barged in there threatening the guards saying that he’s the duchess’s fathers ans they will get punished if they touch him (makes sense since they havent been informed about the father not being allowed in)
Or
Eloise gave him a pass for entering the mansion (letting him in or some kind of identification)
And after he made that mess the guards increased the security of the mansion and fabian prob didnt allow anyone else in.
