She started out so smart and able to stand up for her self, now they turned her in to an oblivious damsel who needs saving to make the men in the story better. Why can’t we have a strong fl and a no nonsense ml why does she have to be weak for him to constantly save her?? And why doesn’t she have a guard . It’s like her whole family got dumber they think she’s safer outside the palace. And with them when she almost died in a fire at their house . I’m not sure the writer knows what to do with the plot. Ugh 😩 I like the story but idk for how long.
