The people of these times are always so weird. Not one person in the crowd at the wedding thought “Why would she want to marry another man just like that?” Or “Her ‘family’ has thrown her out and thrown her to the wolves.”
The only thing I kind of like about these kind of stories is that the families think the female lead will be worse off and they’ve gotten rid of her, but in fact she flourishes and thrives in her new environment. Also that the “monster/beast/barbarian/whatever” that becomes her husband is always a kind and loving man, and they fall in love with each other.

its giving phantom of the opera without the whole opera unalivings. but loving the scarred ML/secret sweet guy thing going on. reminds me of Another Typical Fantasy Romance.

OMG! The prince is his dead fiance! The fact that there was no body and he look exactly like him!!! Plus the attitude’s the same!!! Omg so the prince raped her (according to chapter 1-2). Hate the prince so much!

Ditto. The industry really feeds into the bias of ugly and/or scarred and/or disabled people are all villains while good people are all pretty. Not only is it shallow, it’s also both patently untrue and harmful.

I acctually really like that he has a scar, cause we already have a ton of manhwa/manga with the overly pretty ML so this is refreshing (ok as much as this sound wrong i don’t wan’t his scar to magicaly dissapear later on in the story cause i like a bit of diversity in my ML’s)
