@HoneyToast I’m usually all for women supporting women but tbh in this case I would much rather have the sister be evil than a friend. The fact that her friendship with the OGFL is strengthening bc of this makes for a good balance. What I want now is drama and toxicity lol.
I think acebyfar is actually questioning the author’s decision to pit women against each other. I know it’s a trope but it does make me sad that even in “villainess redemption” stories, they usually just make the og heroine suddenly evil. Granted it’s the “sister” here but I would like to see more platonic female friendships!! Usually all other women are sidelined cheerleaders or competition 🥲
