Making ‘sense’ out of a disordered mind is senseless in itself.
PTSD, or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder shows itself in a variety of ways. But the focal point of it all lays a ‘disorder’. The state of the mind in which a sudden surge of emotion disrupts any order in the mind, and the person is driven by uncontrollable emotions, and negative ones of course.

In this case, he would have been ‘twisted’ IF he was a perfectly normal man in perfect mental health, with no mental of emotional damage. Having lead a normal life since childhood, with, no traumas, no shocks etc.
If he was leading a normal life AND he committed murder out of desire then yes, that would have been called ‘twisted’.
However, he has lead a tragic life full of suffering and abuse, and even when he thought he has overcome the main obstacles, he lost the most important thing in his life.
His only family, his purpose, his only ray of hope.
And not by a mere accident but in the worst way possible.
Yeah some may tolerate and eventually cope with it, but not every personality and emotional tolerance is the same. They are many who would break beyond repair.
Thats when a PTSD leads to various mental disorders.
And he is one of those cases.
I personally wish for him to get consoled, healed and repent. I hope the MC does some good for this unfortunate and miserable siblings as well.

@Happyme Thats most likely the case, since she is obviously strangled to death. A suicide is less likely, yet still plausible.
Its very sad.
Let me guess so he want to kill all the noble ladies that same age as his sister all for revenge I mean I can understand why but he should have kill the parents not the innocent girls because that make no sense just show you how twisted he is
