Wait a minute… so the very first emperor (probably) replaced his soul with his son’s (the crown prince) and did that for centuries??? That’s a horror plot for sure.. how tf they even achieve that?!
yups, in fact, the OG Emperor was even replaced if memory serves correctly. This kind of segways into the next arc, where the FL figures out that the Emperor is also a possessed person and goes on a journey to figure out his name. Because she needs his true name to draw his soul out. Unfortunately, no one knows his name, even ghosts don’t know it and won’t even go near him. Except for possibly, one ghost that wanders around in the castle. You’ve all seen him before :p
