He seems to be the quiet and kindhearted older child who instinctively looks after the younger siblings even when they are completely oblivious to the fact. He lost his mother when he was too young. I’m sure he was very lonely, and when his father got married he must have liked to have the duchess’s attention as well. I don’t yet know what kind of woman she was and what has even happened to her. However I’m sure Ludvielle very much liked to be loved by her. These two had most probably disappointed him to some extent already, Camilla in particular.
