You should know that it wasn’t mentioned in the novel that the children were locked up and not sent abroad as she had read so it’s quite understandable that she doesn’t know how to prevent stuff from happening since she can’t really tell what’s true or false anymore. Moreover in the original she just assumed the og Sasha was a villain without knowing what she had gone through originally with the kids…I really don’t blame them for being villains in the novel,in fact I fully support them…I would’ve snapped as well if I was locked up and made to eat the same stale food every single day for two years while witnessing the death of a loved one at the same time 🥺😢

@chinny,
You’re not wrong there, she was clearly set on getting her revenge on all the relatives but so far there wasn’t much progress from her end… HOWEVER I think the author is once again trying to make these characters as human as possible. For example:
Despite being an adult reincarnated, going through two years worth of captivity along with starvation can ruin even the most stable of minds; it was portrayed well when she escaped that tower for the first time but didn’t know how to react with so many people around, especially the crown prince. But she still sought to at least confront him as organised as she present herself in front of him ‘cause if she had straight away bombarded him with requests to help, he would have easily have mistaken her for a lunatic and would have wanted to get away from Sasha.
And honestly, going away to another country for five years likely ended up being good and bad for Sasha’s sake. It allowed her a chance to be away from the upcoming political warfare the brothers were going to face with their relatives but it also allowed her mental illness to manifest in a worrying way, seeing how Sasha’s current delusions have her talking to the dead Serpentine daughter every chance she is alone.
Lethy and Benya are also likely going through the same trauma, if not worse. I really wish the emperor gave the kids more time to settle with everything that had happened but then again this is also a medieval era so mental awareness and treatment isn’t exactly all that advanced.

I’m angry that this girl didn’t improve herself whatsoever… apart from knowledge from the novel, she hasn’t prevented anything or premeditated anything…? Like…? Girl!!! What’s the point of you in this story..?
