Honestly nothing good will come in escaping, you’re only deluding yourselves if you believe after escaping you can have a better life. Once they escape the relatives will have no choice but to put an end to their lives. They will hunt them down no matter what and kill all of them. Plus how can they even think of way to escape? They are noble children who never experienced such tormenting situation before. She’s actually doing great by staying calm and thinking of ways to overcome their circumstances. Because the vest thing they can do is to wait for that 2 years to be over because that’s where the villain story starts. Plus of they fight back and failed they will never receive food ever again and their uncle might abandoned them completely.

I actually have a theory that the Uncle is really keeping them safe from all the scheming adults. Because if he’s a villain he can just kill the children but he’s actually taking care of them inside the tower. Whenever he visits he also have that look that he’s struggling as well. I don’t know what the hell is happening outside but It’s best that they just stay obedient and try their best to live.
I thinke some of y’all forget that they are kids.. they are kids who now have nothing.
Especially FL. She is a commoner, which means NO DUCKING POWER and they are being mentally tormented (as one can see looking into their eyes).

She is actually annoying me too as if nothing matters.. As if she is ready to build a home there and don’t want to escape.. She is not planning anything its just we will do this and that.. At this point it is valid for him to get mad for suggesting nonsense rather than thinking logically because she knows the situation. Such a weak character just full of talks and annoyance.. I am dropping it at this rate just because of FL
And to think that they were nobles at birth. Meaning, all they have been taught was to act noble, learn etiquette, language, math and things that won’t be beneficial to them in situations like this. Plus the frustration of being betrayed by their relatives while doubting that they are just over reacting because they want to deny the fact that they have no family who they can trust anymore. They couldn’t even mourn the death of their nanny because they parents followed through and now they are stuck in a tower- confused, hungry and irritated. Aside from being a teenager they are lost and deprived of freedom. I have internet, my laptop, netflix— unlimited games and movies i can’t watch but i almost lost my mind during the quarantine. To think i can call and video chat all my friends— i could imagine worse for these kids.
Honestly, I’m not mad at any of them. It’s expected they would be frustrated and annoyed at everything in that kind of situation. It’s like they are in prison.

Confinement is really taking a toll on them mentally and physically, i noticed that both boys had dark circles under their eyes
