Summary

I really hate that the “fantasy”-tag is put on so many contemporary stories like this one – this is annoyingly misleading!
Waking up from a coma and taking revenge is not equal to anything “fantasy” like regression or transmigration…
The revenge-plot itself is quite interesting, although this is a chinese manhua and as such often overexaggerates emotional scenes. I’m especially glad that this female lead is definitely not going to ever return to this trash husband like fls do in so many Korean “romance” manhwas…
Instead, the male lead is an old school / university friend / rival who really cares about the female lead and helps her immediately: basically a character that would only be a sub male lead in Korean manhwas who couldn’t even dream of getting together with the female lead 😛
Not everything in this manhua is unique and fun, but it could be worse. I somehow like that the female lead stays close to her husband pretending that she’s the same naive devoted wife she was before her coma; and then “accidentially” causing troubles pretending to be blind.
The story about winning back the love of her kids is a bit sad unfortunately, especially her daughter (why not the son though?) was heavily manipulated by the lover of the cheating trash husband…
Oh, and the art is well done. Even though the male characters look too much alike for my taste, I really like how the female lead looks 🙂
