I personally believe it’s all the ml’s fault as for he did not try to confess when FL left even though he knew she was doing it for love he could’ve said something to make her stay or at least ask to stay in touch as friends just so then he didn’t let go completely but since he left it so long hoping that she would do all the work and go back to the man who acted like he hated her he has been to spoiled in my opinion if he maybe tried to change his approach then the FL would feel more safe and comfortable but no instead he goes and says he wishes he never met her and a bunch of other shit
