Only those who have been chosen by the goddess have such features and that’s why Priest Mateo was staring at her and quite possibly why the Nun tried to take her somewhere else. I am certain that the nuns are aware of her status (being blessed by the Goddess) but they have no intention of treating her any differently as they had raised her. Now… priests on the other hand… quite possibly want to use her.
