When I was reading the novel, I felt the same way, but you got to understand the FL. She is actually smart. The issue is not yet resolved, and she can’t afford to make a mistake and lose Yena to the ML’s family or the hidden enemy. She doesn’t know yet that it was the ML’s mother’s fault that they were separated. I also wish she could just tell him, but where would she even find the time to investigate when she works and takes good care of the kids? This part is actually pretty funny because he gets jealous of himself. So just let the investigating be done by the ML and the ML’s aide. Once he finds out his connection to the FL, he will grow suspicious and eventually find out the truth.
But I agree. Long hiatus plus the story keeps getting longer for no reason. It’s getting boring actually. Just go straight to the point and let them have a happy family.
