Is it just me, or the pacing feels a little bit… rushed? Like a lot of things were happening in very few panels in the previous chapters, creating plot points to immediately solve them… only to give us a whole-chapter softcore not-smut.
And like @BookObsession said, the “forces of life” plot point has been either forgotten or it’s a looming threat.
Okay, so if the forces of life are trying to kill her because she was already supposed to be dead and trying to right the balance, wouldn’t that mean she has a much higher chance of dying in childbirth? Going beyond what the Ring of Healing can handle?
