I just realized this story has a HUGE plot hole…in the beginning at least. She could have just run away when she was sent to the Duke. She would have at least had a day head start. Plus being as skilled as she is in combat she could have easily escaped and lived her life in another country or something.
But I guess we wouldn’t have a story now would we. Lol
But this is only chapter 2, we’ll see how this goes. 🤔
