Just too many coincidences in this story! I get that the author wants the story to be fast-paced and keep up the tension, but it’s just too weird.
First she happens to overhear the VIPs just at the right time shortly before the prince appears, now the prince just “happens” to see the female lead walking at night exactly at the right time when she’s returning from the guild..
If she were just the half-wit, he would have murdered her when swinging the sword without thinking, but of course he had to do this for the action and so that she’ll be forced to use her fan.
And not even a few minutes later the next coincidence happens by meeting male lead number 2 .
Also, I’d vote for the second ML our FL encountered during her escape from that psycho prince. No way I’d want to be with that guy; just imagining that in real life makes my skin crawl
