This manhwa is more of an action- and intrigues-fantasy story in a conflict-loaded world than a romance; and prince Kilad is the actual main character who is about to become emperor against a lot of opposition, even though his (initially secret) love Alkina is nearly just as important and gets the second-most “screentime”.
From what I could find so far, zestkyo is not only the artist of “bring the love” and now “13th prince”, but also the author.
So we can definitely expect even more strong women again with considerate men at their side, a slow-burn love story between the main couple plus even more love stories of side characters with their own struggles, hopefully also gay ones again (the two gay couples in “bring the love” were awesome, completely undramatical and with no bad clichés attached whatsoever). I’m also hoping for more comic relief a little later on as well as cute & funny characters like in “bring the love”.
On the other hand, zestkyo’s stories have a grim side to them as well – ongoing conflicts between nations, brutal childhood experiences, old grudges, racist and violent enemies full of predjudice, life-threatening events for the main couple ahead and even unexpected traitors.
So be warned 😀

Looking at the art style, it’s from the same artist as Bring the Love.
