@ragnell1990 Glad I wasn’t the only one who thought she was acting pretty bitchy towards the only person who actually cared for her. She hasn’t listed a single bad thing her step brother did to her and yet she threw him under the bus with no hesitation. She didn’t even gain anything from betraying him too so what was the point. Like, we get that you’re trying to appear crazy(which isn’t the best option to go with when you’re trying to break off your marriage with a tyrant who didn’t have a problem with killing you before. She honestly could have just waited it out instead of drawing more attention to herself)but no need to make more enemies. Especially with the person who saved you after your suicide attempt.

Though I don’t get. Dad has brown eyes, Mom has green eyes. They are half siblings but both have red eyes? Feels like something is going on with the art or are related but the duke isn’t the real dad for either one.
Noo, I don’t think the brother likes her romantically. And they are related, they have the same father. I think the brother is just a person who knows his parents did his sister wrong and he understands that she’s a victim in the whole situation

The whole background she just narrated about is full of gaps which could very well be the insufficient info regarding her background.
Dont know if they are cousin or arent related at all.
However his expression clearly shows that he likes her from early on, right from their childhood probably.
Maybe the stepmother knows and thats why she has abused her and wants to get rid of her before his son makes a bold move and “ruin their reputation” and such nonsense.
The duke is most certainly a villain here.
