1. baby im not even here.....im hallucination

   Tried reading it again in 2024 and realized that maybe i should get anger management classes. Valerie, the villain, is STILL the only interesting thing in this damn story. ML’s actions are being treated as nothing, and now FL thinks he “suffered” as well due to a stupidly thrown in dream (basically a manifested memory of ML’s past). I’ve read 53 chapters and at this point i dont understand why i came back. It still sucks ass. The politics aren’t even crazy enough to be seen as plot, either. Unless getting mad is your kink or something, don’t waste your time believing this is some good ole’ angsty romance.

   im ITCHING to punch the ml, id never imagine id ever get THIS mad over someone whos not even real. But yk who i hate even MORE?? every single person who gave this manhwa a good rating. i cannot stress ENOUGH over the fact this trashy, horrible manhwa that looks like it was written by a 13 year old girl whos got Stockholm syndrome and self inserted herself into this manhwa even exists. this is starting to PHYSICALLY hurt me yall.

   im genuinely sorry for everyones whos read this HORRIBLE excuse for a manhwa. id rather get strapped to the outside of a rocket ship with duct tape and get sent out to space without a space suit or have all my teeth plucked out one by one with tweezers, boil them, cover them in lead paint and get them stuck into my gums by force than EVER read this manhwa again.

   everyone who gave it a high rating mustve either not read the manhwa, read it with their eyes closed or missed the whole plot. I cant believe there are some people out there that genuinely like this manhwa and are probably recommending this manhwa to their poor friends.

   i hated the ml sm bro i dropped this after like chap 12 and i dropped this like 4 times now idk why this manhwa has 4 stars im gonna personally find everyone that gave it a 5 star rating and give them a lobotomy myself cuz their obv not in their right minds.

   After putting the rest of this story off for a while, I realized that maybe I should just drop this again. The characters are boring; ML sucks, FL is dumb, villain is somewhat interesting but she’s really only a stereotypical greedy bitch who wants the throne for her own nefarious purposes.
   FL pretty much forgave the ML after like 30 chapters, so she didn’t really resent him for long.
   All in all, I just don’t like this story anymore.
   It’s not good angst either, it’s just a shitty man getting a simple slap on the wrist and being treated as if he’s changed even though every action he’s done so far has been selfish.
   Like if being royalty made your wife suffer in the past, why would you insist on bringing her in as an empress? like let her live peacefully with her father, its just nuts dude

    not your typical angsty drama romance fantasy because of how heavy the plot is, especially about the spoilers for ML like ughhh I srsly cannot accept that kind of quality for a MALE lead 😩 ngl the idea of the story wouldve been good if only the ML is not the ML djsksksk

    At first I was like “oh yay a story where the ml is the regressor, I don’t see that often” but as I kept reading.. it sounds like he learnt nothing from his past other than to not get with the women he politically married in the past life. The fl is still thrust into this whole new life with barely any warning, strung along the whole way despite her own thoughts and feelings. She can’t even escape after regaining her past memories.. i kept reading til ch 19 in hopes that maybe, just maybe, the ml would prove that he’ll do better. But no. He is pushing onto her his feelings and the position of empress no matter how she feels. I don’t blame her for hating him, he is a selfish fool who can’t even make up for his past wrongs properly.

    The only reason I haven’t dropped this is because I’m interested in seeing the chaos unfold. The Male Lead is complete and utter cow shit, so don’t expect much from his character because it gets worse according to the spoilers. I only recommend reading if you like angst or if you like to get angry.

    I was curious, and so I read the spoilers.
    Almost everyone in the thread disliked the ML and didn’t want the main characters to get together. In their words, it’s a “Trash Waste Novel”. I might read a couple more chapters and see if I like it or not because I feel like those reviews are warning me to not read this and I wanna see why.
    But if you want, I’ll tell you what I found. PS there wasn’t many spoilers of the story itself for most of it was flashbacks, according to the reviews, so it’s mostly about the ML.
    🔥WARNING: SPOILER🔥
    1.) there are more regressions than the current and past timeline. In the other timelines, the FL and ML went down the same route, with only a few changes but all of it ended in misery and death. Also, the unborn child lives this timeline and is the reason of the past regressions for a reason I found but don’t quite understand to explain. They had two kids in the previous timeline (before the current one) and the reason their first child died was because concubine Valerie poisoned it (ML knew of this fact but still had kids with her)
    2.) ML had kids with the other concubines in all timelines, but was extremely cruel to them; ignoring them, murdering them, and just being a bad father. He was forced to have them, so his anger is understood, but he’s still an asshole as they are still his children.
    3.) In the novel, stated by a comment I saw so I don’t know too much about it, but apparently the ML willingly sleeps with the concubines after marriage and got one pregnant unintentionally. So nah, he didn’t have kids for the purpose of survival, he just committed a lot of infidelity that he disguised as “duty”.
    4.) also this mf literally chains the FL up after she regains her memories because she wanted to save herself and run away….cute right?
    Supposedly the FL is a bit weak as well, so don’t expect any redeeming qualities with the characters. These weren’t really spoilers, but that’s all there was. Google ‘Novel Updates’ for more info.
    I probably won’t read much of the story since the FL is treated like shit in all of the timelines. Like we’re supposed to clap for the ML, who was the root of her suffering? lol sorry but no, even his daughter that he had with her hated him. This manhwa just sounds like a bunch of shitty angst. Red flags every where 🚩🚩🚩(sorry for the long comment)

    If you’re intrigued what’s with this manhwa,just read at the comments every chapter 😂😂😂. Others were shocked because of the comments,but well, when comments are long that only means that the readers were hooked although they’re pissed or happy.
