If you go into this expecting a normal revenge story you’ll be disappointed. This story is has very politically powerful villains and relatively weak heroes. It will be a true journey to build the hero’s power, mentally, magically and politically. The romance is slow building and as of now, only qualifies as mutually unidentified crushes on eachother. The side characters are well developed and have their own troubles to fight through. All together the story is well thought out and woven together.

At first it was exciting, but eventually the storyline became way too boring. The FL wasn’t much the brightest but eh- idk. It felt like she wasn’t a main character on the story but rather a side character with a tragic background. Also the art wasn’t that much great in my opinion. Will get back to this if i ever felt like it again, but so far i was dissapointed.

It’s a bit frustrating that she makes no plans to escape and telling the emperor and son apart is difficult because the emperor has the body of a teen due to magic
