The prince sided with the church, he created discord between Nora and his father became was jealous of their relationship. Nora’s father became abusive towards him because of the prince. The church in the future will attempt to poison Nora, and the church is also siding with the first prince so when Nora’s father sees the truth he comes gunning for the prince.
