Summary
Read manga 7 Days From Now, I Will Save the Cursed Duke / 次の7日後、呪われ公爵を救います
When she came to, she found herself in an unfamiliar, different world. There, the protagonist, Kana, met Duke Dariwell, a man cloaked in a cold and ruthless aura. As Dariwell walks through the streets, the gazes directed at him are filled with fear. In this country, he is feared as the “cursed duke who brings misfortune to anyone who approaches him and loses his memories every 7 days.”
That is why no one comes near him, and why he, too, never opened his heart to anyone.
—Until he met her.
While everyone else kept their distance, Kana alone never left his side.
His casual words and actions, the inconsistent testimonies, and the deeply wounded expressions he occasionally reveals. The closer she gets to him, the more a lingering sense of doubt builds within Kana’s heart. —Is this man truly “cursed”?
Unraveling the truth behind the curse, she melts the cold-hearted duke’s heart, and eventually, the two find themselves drawn to each other…

This isekai looks suspiciously similar to a Chinese manhua, despite its Japanese title.
It consists of a large amount of tropes plus some a little more original ideas.
I would have liked it somehow despite its obvious flaws (like that the male lead is a duke, a skilled fighter, very taciturn and unsocial, or the male lead saves the female lead from attacks again and again in the nick of time before she is killed etc) – if not for chapter 5-6…
where the male lead wakes up from an episode of his “curse” and pushes the female lead down to the floor (from a chair – ouch!) and even points a dagger at her (no idea wherever this weapon even came from), asking if she was an intruder… (The same scene is being hinted at in chapter 1 already btw., but at that time we readers still don’t know how or why this will happen.)
He later explains that his curse includes memory-loss, but that still doesn’t excuse this instinctive violent behaviour completely unprovoked against a harmless unarmed friendly acting woman in his room (which means his people must have allowed her to be there in the first place).
Any guy who acts like that is just a massive red flag, sorry.
The female lead is also a bit strange. She is acting happy-go-lucky in order to survive, which she even explains as being intentional (towards the male lead’s suspicious flirtative prince-like looking brother), but it’s still weird that she can even act so unshaken after being a victim of abuse in our world who was killed by Truck-kun and then escaping death twice in a row in a strange world where she has no place to stay and no money…
I also don’t like it that the female lead’s head is only full of thoughts about the male lead all the time. I think she pities him way too much, he is a grown-up and responsible for his own decisions; and he doesn’t seem to just even try to change things, otherwise there’ll be reliable people at his side waiting to help him, like his trusted butler for example.
In chapter 6 the inevitable happens too; the scheming butler asks the female lead to “play” the role of fianceé for the male lead. She hasn’t said yes yet, but we all know how stories like that go, so of course she will. And at the very end of chapter 6, the obligatory b*tchy villainess already makes her appearance 🙁
