Summary
Read manga I’ll Bring You to Your Knees In This Life! / 今世は貴方を跪かせたい!
Tsuyuri, an ordinary office worker, was suddenly dumped by her fiancé, Hideo, just before their wedding. As if that weren’t enough, she loses her life after being struck by his car on her way home.
But when she opens her eyes again, she finds herself inside Lucia’s Moon, an otome game she had cleared countless times before.
Worse still, she’s reincarnated as Elda, the villainess doomed to die in every single route.
At first, Tsuyuri is thrilled at the chance to meet her favorite love interest, Crown Prince Hiiro. But her excitement is short-lived when the man who appears before her is none other than Hideo himself, the very ex-fiancé who betrayed her.
To make matters worse, the game’s true heroine is secretly manipulating events from the shadows, sending Elda hurtling straight toward her inevitable death ending.
Yet somehow, Isaac, the loyal retainer originally destined to kill Elda, unexpectedly swears loyalty to her instead and becomes her ally.
With fate beginning to shift, Elda finally decides to fight back.
“I’ll become queen and make every last one of you kneel before me!”
A thrilling revenge romance where a doomed villainess defies destiny and turns the tables on everyone who wronged her.

In the first uploaded batch, chapter 3+4 as well as chapter 9+10 are still missing. So far it’s a wild and crazy story where the most unbelievable things keep happening and well-known tropes are parodied by overexaggerating or topping them with even more wacky events or details…
However this whole concept would only work well as a hilarious comedy if it was actually told and drawn in order to be funny. A comedy loses all the fun if it takes itself or the suffering of its characters too seriously, so needs to do without painful drama, death threats and the like.
In case of this doujinshi-like manga, I find the humor unfortunately lacking and the completely dispensable drama extremely annoying.
Basically all the actions of the leading characters and even more so of most side characters are absolutely incomprehensible. The plot itself sadly cannot build up any tension since it is drowning in illogical events that happen very quickly one after another from the very beginning. And the system windows (mainly about affection points) are making things only worse.
The art is not bad though, and the whole chaos of a story still has a few creative ideas to offer now and then…
