Mitsuru moves from the countryside to the big city with her father, Fuma Akai, who once made a name for himself as a monster killer. On her very first day at her new school, Mitsuru is targeted by the girl gang boss, dragged to the school storage room, and beaten. But before things can go any further, countless monsters suddenly appear, turning the place into a scene of total disaster. These monsters seem to be connected somehow to Mitsuru’s “special constitution,” yet no one around her appears to see them. In the chaos, Mitsuru is abducted by two shady men who claim to be from the police. When Fuma learns his daughter has gone missing, his anger flares, and he swears to get her back.
